Abundant Leadership Modules

Read below to view a synopsis of what is entailed in the Abundant Leadership modules.  These modules provide a theoretical framework, but also very practical and hands-on tools and ideas that school leaders can use in their own contexts. Whether it be working together as a team, or seeing real-life examples, each module is uniquely taught in order to foster growth, personal knowledge, and skills to use in their own school communities.

This module led by Richard Taylor (Wellspring Foundation for Education co-founder & Rwanda country director) introduces the concept of Abundant Leadership, and highlights the Biblical perspective of leadership based on Jesus’ model. We discuss the shift from traditional position-based leadership to servant leadership in the African context. Leaders are provided with tools to determine their personal leadership style, and are helped to further articulate a vision for transforming education in their community.  ALI students will gain a deeper understanding of the cross-cutting themes for the program and the six characteristics of an Abundant Leader.
