What Does Turi Kumwe Mean?

Turi Kumwe is Kinyarwanda for “we are together”. This little phrase became a motto for Wellspring at the height of the pandemic. Despite the challenges of lockdowns, distance, and time difference we are together; school leaders, teachers, parents, students, and you, our gracious friends and partners. 

We are together to seek justice, worth, and dignity for every individual.

To embolden, empower, and equip every member of the education ecosystem to step into their role of supporting quality education with confidence and excellence.

To help every child access quality education so they can reach all their God-given potential so they can grow to be things like teacher multipliers, servant leaders, and role models in their communities.

We can only go so far as individuals, but if we work together, we can build God’s Kingdom in this world. Thank you for being together with us. Your partnership is turi kumwe in action!
