Ride Details
On Saturday, July 9th, a group of 40 riders from the Lower Mainland – including 22 children – cycled Langley’s Fort-to-Fort Trail to raise funds for the work of the Wellspring Foundation in Rwandan schools. We are excited to report that the amount raised through the 3rd annual Rachel’s Ride for Rwanda was $14,300!
Rachel’s Ride was initiated in 2014 by 14-year-old Surrey resident, Rachel Fitz, who lived in Rwanda for 3 years, and wanted to engage other BC children in helping Rwandan children receive a quality education. Through these 3 events, a total of $39,400 has now been raised to support Wellspring’s work. We invite you, your friends, and family to join us next year!
